Wayne Pesce

President

Wayne Pesce joined the Connecticut Food Association in September of 2015.  Prior to joining CFA, Mr. Pesce served as vice president of national retail sales at Coca-Cola where he was responsible for supermarket customers in the Northeast with annual retail sales over $100 million.  He previously worked as a route driver, district sales manager, key account manager and director of sales during his 20 plus year career at Coca-Cola.

Pesce has been recognized for his leadership in the food industry having been inducted into the Connecticut Food Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and previously served as second vice-chairman of their Board of Directors.  He is also a former Executive Committee member of the Food Industry Alliance of New York State.  Mr. Pesce is currently a board member of the Connecticut Food Policy council and was recently appointed to a joint state task force on recycling and extended producer responsibility.

Pesce holds a BS degree in Corporate Communications from Southern Connecticut State University.  He also attended the University of Connecticut MBA program and has been a guest speaker for subsequent UConn MBA classes.  He is a parent council member at the Westover School in Middlebury CT and resides in Middlebury with his wife and two daughters.

Tricia Levesque

Director of Operations

Tricia has contributed to CFA in various capacities since 2000.  She manages and oversees event planning, public relations efforts, scholarship foundation administration, and meeting coordination for CFA.  In addition Tricia is responsible for the Specialty Food product awards competitions, trade shows, and seminars to enhance visibility and increase awareness of Connecticut based products in all segments of the marketplace.

Claire Bastian

Digital Marketing & Administrative Coordinator

Claire joined the CFA team in 2016 and is responsible for managing the association’s coupon accounts and digital media presence. Claire brings with her a broad range of skills, including: graphic design, event coordination, public relations and digital media management.

Claire graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in public relations and a minor in marketing and communication studies. A Native of the ‘Hoosier State’ she currently lives in West Hartford, CT with her husband Matt, and their three children Olivia, Owen and Jacob.
